Sustainable food in the spotlight

“How can I be good to the earth, and good to my body, and really just be connected to this way of life?” asks Amy Fleischer, public programs coordinator at Mass. Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. A three-part lecture series on sustainable food will help answer those questions this January at the sanctuary.

Sustainable fishing, cooking in a solar oven and organic gardening will be the topics covered. The series is aimed at getting folks closer to their community food source, and even teaching them how to learn to cook with sustainable energy — the sun.
