The Wellfleet Public Library is located on Main Street, just a quick jaunt from Town Hall. The late Philip Hamburger, longtime writer for The New Yorker, wrote in his final column about his summer home, ``The true center of town is the library."
Open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 2pm to 8pm: Tuesday 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm: Sundays November-April 2pm to 5pm.
Services include internet and wireless access, photocopier, fax, and a schedule of programs for children and adults.
Visitors are invited to get a library card.
The Library also regularily hosts readings, lectures, seminars, panels, talks, musical events and exhibitions. Please check our website for the current schedule.
