The Town Clock
According to “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” the only Town clock in the world that strikes on ship’s time is located on Main Street in the steeple of the 1850’s First Congregational Church.

Uncle Tims Bridge and Cannon Hill
Uncle Tim’s Bridge links East Commercial Street to the town's conservation area of Cannon Hill.The wooden footbridge was reconstructed in 2008 with funding from the Community Preservation Act.

Billingsgate Island
Wellfleet's own version of Atlantis lies south of the southernmost tip of Great Island in Wellfleet Harbor. Billingsgate was about a mile long and half a mile wide in the mid-1800s, with a lighthouse, a school, a plant for rendering whale oil, and a community of 30 houses.
